Meet Our Staff

In 2007 I opened Frontier Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. I was board certified as an Orthopedic Clincal Specialist (OCS) in 2004, and was appointed to the Academy of Advanced Item Writers by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy for my contributions as a question writer for the National Physical Therapy Exam. I have also served as an item writer for the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Exam for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. I am married to Connie, and we have three childen. Kirsten, Lane and Cade keep us very busy when I am not at the clinic, and as a family we enjoy all that Montana has to offer, including camping, hunting, fishing, riding our horses and the many sports that our childen are involved in throughout the year.
Kirsten Jensen, DPT
I earned my Bachelor of Exercise Science degree at Montana State University before attending A.T. Still University in Mesa, Arizona for my Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree. While I loved the sunshine of Arizona, I was born and raised in Great Falls and missed this great state, along with my family and friends. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, running, attending sporting events, riding horses, traveling, hiking, camping and experiencing new adventures. I find my career very rewarding because of the people I get to work with, both patients and my fellow teammates at Frontier Physical Therapy.
Kendra Lee, PT
Hi! My name is Kendra and I graduated from Montana State University in 1996 with a BA in Exercise Science. I then attended Winston-Salem State University (Winston-Salem, NC) and graduated in 2000 with a BA in Physical Therapy. Wanting to get back to Montana and family, I moved back to Great Falls after graduation. I worked in outpatient practices until I was blessed to become a stay-at-home mom for 2 amazing boys, Teagan and Treyton. I recently joined the Frontier Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine family and I couldn’t be happier!
In my free time I enjoy jogging, golfing, reading, camping and downhill skiing. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends, however my favorite is spending time with my boys and watching them participate in all of their activities.
Kendra Terry, PTAHi, my name is Kendra and I am pleased to be here at Frontier Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. I was born in Missoula, but raised here in Great Falls. I graduated in July 2011, from MSU-COT Great Falls and began working here shortly after as a PTA. I have two wonderful and fun daughters, Jasmine and Jade, with whom I love spending time. Some of the activities we enjoy together include traveling, swimming, going on walks, watching movies, hanging out with family and friends, and being outdoors.
Connie Jensen, PTA
I have been with Frontier Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine alongside my husband since we opened the clinic in 2007. My background has always been in the medical/dental field in the administrative end, so Mike and I balance out the needs of our clinic from all angles. I returned to school in 2010 and received my PTA degree as I love getting to know our patients and being part of their healing process.
When I am not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with our 3 children. Most of that time is driving all over the state following our boys for all of their different sports! You can always find my daughter and me on the sidelines sporting the team colors and cheering the boys on! On the occasional non-sport weekend, I love to head to the mountains and take advantage of all that our beautiful state has to offer.
Shelby Box, ATCHi, my name is Shelby Box. I have been a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2004. I graduated from Northwestern University in St. Paul, MN, in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training. I have been in Montana since 2006, and in Great Falls since 2008. When I'm not providing sports medicine coverage to the smaller local schools, I enjoy playing basketball, handing out with my pups, and being outdoors in this great state I call home.
Morgan Umphres, ATC, LATHi, my name is Morgan Umphres and I am an Athletic Trainer here at Frontier Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Montana-Missoula in 2013. I started with Frontier in the fall of 2016, and I am loving it. Being born and raised in the great state of Montana, I have a lot of hobbies outside of work. Hunting, fishing, dirt bike riding, hiking, camping, basketball, and working on my parent's ranch are a few of the many things that keep me busy when I'm not with the wonderful staff at Frontier Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine.

Spending time with my family and friends is always at the top of my favorite things to do, along with reading, scrapbooking, camping, archery, and watching my kids play sports.
