Vestibular Rehab
Vestibular rehabilitation is the treatment of vertigo, along with associated dizziness, poor balance, and gait abnormalities that may be a result of vestibular dysfunction.
Vestibular rehabilitation is the treatment of vertigo (a sensation that you are “spinning”, or that the world is “spinning” around you), along with associated dizziness, poor balance, and gait abnormalities that may be a result of vestibular dysfunction. This could include problems with the peripheral (located in the inner ear) or central (located in the brain) vestibular systems. We will perform an evaluation to help determine the nature of the problem, discuss treatment options we have available, perform the necessary maneuvers to correct the problem (if applicable), and develop a home exercise program to assist with symptom management and alleviation. We will compliment your home program with clinical follow-up as indicated. If you would like more information, please contact us.
